The Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energie e.V. (BEE) is the umbrella organization for German renewable energy associations. It was founded in 1991 and represents the overall interests of the renewable energy industry in the political and public sphere. Its 30 member organizations unite the sectors of wind and solar energy, biomass, water power and geothermal energy and represent a total of over 30000 individual members and companies.

We are right in the fundamental transformation of our energy supply: The old energy sources coal, oil, gas and uranium are running out. They are being replaced by the renewable energy from solar, wind, water, biomass and geothermal energy. In the foreseeable future, the renewable energy will be our primary energy supply. Mr. Dr. Hermann Falk introduced us the Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energie e.V. and said, “We must be independent of fossil fuels and position the economy on a climate-friendly basis. Therefor we we need 100 percent renewable energy - in Germany and worldwide.”.

The new partnership of Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energie e.V. (BEE) and International Renewable Energy e.V. (IRE) was established today in Berlin. The partners offer their members an even better opportunity to network and to the policy and an even wider range of information from the latest findings of science and research to application-oriented business cases.

Both sides agreed that Bundesverband Erneuerbare Energie e.V. (BEE) and International Renewable Energy e.V. (IRE) will build a professional platform for the sector of renewable energies together.
